  1. Thanks for the tips guys. I plan to do something with the headlights. Thinking I'll either go with the Halo light kit and some HID Xennon lights. I'm probably going to get the rims refurbished since it'll be a lot cheaper than buying new rims. I want to do an induction kit and put in a new exhaust system. I really want to do a supercharger, but so far the prices I have seen are a little steep. I really wanna get some better acceleration out of my car. For the interior, all I plan on doing is changing out some of the bulbs and possibly install a new stereo and some speakers in the rear. I'm not looking to get to crazy with subs, but I would like a little bass. I find that the stock speakers are really lacking in bass.
  2. Hey guys, I'm pretty new around here. I recently purchased a 2004 IS200 Sport and am excited to do some mods to it. I will probably eventually add a supercharger once I find one at a good deal. I'm curious as to where I should start with my mods. I've never owned a vehicle that I could tune and mod. Should I start with a new induction kit? A new exhaust system? Or just wait and save up for a supercharger? I wouldn't mind doing some small stuff to help with performance. I've been also looking for new head lights and tail lights. Are there any good places to shop besides ebay? I'd really appreciate any advice you guys could shoot my way.
  3. Thanks for the welcome. Not sure if I'll be putting in a supercharger or not. I'd have to find one for a really low price. Not sure how much I'll be putting my car. I definently want to do some mods, but they'd have to be cost efficient. I'm only going to be in the UK for 4 years, and I don't want to put a lot of money into a car that I know I wont be keeping for the long run.
  4. Just happened across this site searching google and figured I had to join. I just purchased a Silver 2004 Lexus IS200 Sport yesterday. I really wanted something a little newer, but she only has 40k miles and 1 previous owner. The interior is practically flawless. The exterior is straight, some minor scuffs; never been in an accident. The major issues would be on the rims which have seen the wrong side of a curb or 2. Not bad, but for me they are an eye sore. I plan to get those replaced within the next year. I just recently moved to the country from the US. I'll be here working for the next 4 years, so I'll probably be spending some time modding my baby. I don't think I'll do too much to the body as I like the stock look. As I mentioned, I would like to get some new rims soon. I was searching the web trying to get some info on the car and was a little dissapointed that she only comes with 153bhp. I was suprised to see such a low bhp, the car really feels like it has a lot of get up to her. If that is true, I would like to do some mods that would help in boosting it closer to 200-250bhp. I will be reading through the site to try and get some info on mods that are recommended. It's a pleasure to meet you all, and I look forward to learning more about my new toy. P.S. As my name implies, I love Nissan Skylines and wanted to purchase one while I was here. But because I needed a car with a back seat for my daughter, I had to go with a 4 door. The original plan was to purchase a car for my wife first, then get my Skyline. As it turns out, I purchased my IS200 on Thursday, and will be buying her Jeep Liberty on Tuesday. O'well, she's given me the green light to purchase an R34 GTR when we get to Japan. Which I hope will be after my 4 years here.
