I know its been mentioned before but cannot find a simple solution. I bought a 2003 face lift LS and swopped the car battery from my GS430 , this is when the issue started. Smart key is not recognised by the car so I have to put into the ignition slot to start.The remote works as normal by locking buttons but smart is a no go ? I have checked the switch under the dash and that's ok. All was working until I changed the battery. My gs430 sport is due for sale due to a bump so have now gone for the LS so far so good.
