Distilled water and bataid tablets.....those were the bad old days. I think new batteries are pretty good nowadays and I don't miss messing about with battery acid one bit as I've seen how nasty that stuff can be.

Lost many a good t-shirt carrying leaky old batteries about,,

the next time you put them on they were allways full of holes where

the acid had got on them..lol

At the top rhs near where you sign in there is quick links for

forums,media library,insurance and search

just click on media library link then click on ambermarines user name to see his pics.

Slightly off topic but i noticed the lpg tank in our local Morrisons

getting filled up by a BP gas tanker today.. 65.9 ppl in Morrisons and 67.9 ppl at BP garage

for the same gas,

So did the new coils sort the problem out then or was it something else ?

How did that little trick Steve suggested with moving the coils work out ?

did the fault code follow the suspect coil ?

A google search says that fault code is related ignition coil number 6,

it could be working fine when cold but breaking down when the car has been running, then it will probably run ok again when you leave it to cool.

Thought i would introduce myself,
