i have now been to garage and had engine diagnostic done,codes said refer to manufacter but lights went off and stayed off for about an hour! battery kept going dead because of the alternator and am wondering if this has anything to do with it! the car itself seem fine and everything works but these lights are now starting to ***** me off as there is definately nowt wrong! what do i do? do i take it to lexus and pay£65 plus labor and parts or do i just put up with it? just means i cant turn traction control on or off!!! HELP

cheers steve,i have tried the battery disconnect then reconect and drove round for 45 mins yet no lights came on,but when i started it the day after the lights came on after 5mins of driving,suppose ill have to get it rechecked with another diagnostic thing!!!

i have a y reg lexus is200 sport and i now have the engine light on and the traction control light blinks! ive had a new alternator fitted as the battery wasnt charging thinking that was the problem,ive also had someone plug in a thing to find the fault but it said all was fine and no codes were indicated,its now puzzling me,anyone have any ideas?
