Norwich Union (if you can stand the time delay talking to a sales person in India). By taking a £525 excess the premium was under £500 with 5 yrs+ NCB. Eagle Star were not far behind.

Whoops! Sorry, as I was replying to a Gold member I never gave it a thought. Must be the early stages of senility.

I paid £130 a corner fitted and balanced for the new Dunlop SP sport 01s which Dunlop have introduced with quiteness as a priority. Very early days yet so I can't report on wear but they are certainly quiet enough. I went through <removes name of LOC Gold Discount Company> who gave me a (small) discount as a LOC Gold member.

Hi,
I have heard of many people who travel one way with P&O and come back Sea France on day trip rates. Wouldn't do it myself naturally but who has ever been challenged? The giveaway is how loaded your car is. If you are full to the brim with luggage etc you are unlikely to be making a day trip!

Thanks Zee,
I've already been in contact with Mike (saw it on E-Bay). His car is a little bit too expensive for me and I think he will get his price if he hangs on a while. These are big, expensive beasts and it takes a little time to sell one. It took me several weeks to sell my Mercedes E Class and after only 10 months ownership I dropped £6K on it. Still, someones happy.
Kind Regards,
Kent.

Hi everybody. I am looking for a GS300SE MKII or perhaps Sport for my first Lexus. I have up to £12k and FLSH is a must. I am located in the North West but sensible travelling is OK.

Have now looked up the paperwork. I changed my car three times in eight weeks so it took some working out but I have now done the sums and I paid £385.96 with one additional driver and protected NCB for my GS300SE. I agree that a £520 excess is hefty but I suppose you pays your money and takes your choice. Incidently Norwich Union are also pretty good for grey imports, I paid £457.71 for a Mitsubishi FTO GR Auto (£520 excess) which was much cheaper than anyone else I could find.
