  1. Something does not seem right here :excl:

Firstly if you had an accident and did not report it I thought that the insurance company could not do anything until you had reported it, as it was their word against yours, (I would remind them that you are the customer and that they should be working with you on this and not against you, I bet you have just renewed your policy with them)

Does anyone else have access to keys for your car? maybe they borrowed it without asking!!

Also what really concerns me is that how has someone got all your details and gone to your insurance company and said you had an accident, I thought that there was such a thing as data protection.

You said that you called your insurance company, did you use the number on the top of the letter that you received today? (just thinking it maybe another scam). If so try using another number that is on your policy.

Sorry if I am stating the obvious here.

Anyhow good luck and let us know how you get on

  2. Alan from U-Save can get you the part numbers and parts needs to be import though call him with the chassis number as he will need that to put into the computer.

U-Save 0845 6589777 tell him Maria told you about him

  3. Dantrack or Matrix as they are now called have a good system, it has the stolen key guard option and also it can be wired into the vehicles alarm system if requested so if the vehicle is stolen the control centre are able to immobilise it once it has stopped.

There are a few good points about this system you can removed it and put it in the next car if you wanted, which I don't think all tracking devices give you the option to do this it can also do mobile office and sat nav.

The down side is it's not the cheapest on the market and you don't have the option to do a life time payment.

:offtopic: Not a tracking device but Autowatch have a very good stolen keyguard system that I think retails just under the £100 mark, it's not approved by Thatcham but when you see how it works it is a very good idea.

  4. For those in the Newbury area Headley Tyres are so I am told very good, I have to say don't go on a saturday morning though as it is packed!!

Basingstoke area I understand the best place to be Mitcheldever Tyres not sure on the spelling there, both places worth a try

  5. It works without jeopardising the operation of peripheral systems such as Automatic Gearing, Electronic Power Steering and Active Spoiler Control.

I think you will find that this is the only company at present that have a solution for the SC430.
