Thats because most refurb places use 1 colour to refurb the wheels. The original wheels have a silver base coat with dark grey stuck on top which gives the titanium effect and hence why its quite hard to match because its actually got 3 layers altogether including the clear coat.

Getting them finished like original i.e 2 different paints usually costs abouto £100 a wheel.

    great thanks for the info.

  2. I've purchased the dealer versions a few times and have always been happy. When I did have to claim for the IS-F :-( the process of claiming was easy, and in fact I was in receipt of funds before my the insurance pay out cash landed.

  3. Given its history its still worth well north of 10K. The car was in brum/Walsall when last advertised with these exact pictures. The seller joined eBay on the 12th February 2016 and has zero feedback. coupled with the daft price, there's enough red flags for me.

By all means carry on, but I bet he'll want payment by bank transfer when you agree a deal.

Off course I could be wrong and be too suspicious in my old age!

I will do it myself, a full enhancement will take me 2 days from this point but when I have a weekend with good weather I'll get it done. Today was just stage one, and I'm sure she's a lot happier for it. I managed to kill off about 60% of the swirls with the one pass DA today, obviously not happy with that, just time i need to find to do it.

    Great stuff.
