Hi i got the same problem and no garage could find the problem so took it to lexus to day and it turnt out to be the strut it self some thing went at the top of it and thats whats causing the rattle noise and they said ill need a new strut hope this helps you .

Ok thanks for all your help .... well the cream one will be for sale soon but its missing the bottom bracket cover which sits in side the centre console and the magnut cover :)

Hi all i got two arm rest one black and one cream which im going to be fitting the black one in my lexus is200 but the cream armrest has got a square box type thing bolted to the arm rest frame but the black armrest frame hasent does any one know what that square box type thing is .
