Thanks for that info. I am useless on anything like that but it is interesting that an aftermarket sub may work. I hardly use the car so not 100% sure whether I should bother getting it fixed or not.

I may try that thanks. I was not sure if it would fit or not but I doubt they redesign speakers every few years like you say.

Hi Guys, I have noticed more and more lately that my subwoofer is rattling about. I took it to an audio place today and they said I need a new one but they did not have any that would work due to different ohms? Mine is a late 53 reg and is an early facelift model. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys I bought a LS430 earlier in the week and will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon. I am picking it up from Hertfordshire and bringing it back to outskirts of Liverpool around 180 miles. Currently have quite heavy snowfall here. I know the car has a snow setting but do you / can you use this on the motorway at all? Bit nervous first drive in car might be in the snow.

Thanks for the replies guys. It's not the end of the world if it does not work as never had one before anyway. Just be nice if I could fix it for reasonable cost to have it working.

I was going to get a guy to check the wiring hopefully that will do it. I guess it just wires into the reversing lights initially so may have a look there myself for anything obvious although I am not at all handy with stuff like that.
