Thanks for the welcome. Is there anyone from around the Poole area and are there any regular meets organised at all?

No not experienced hitting the bump stops or damage to the shocks but it is quite a firm ride! I would put some pictures on here for you but it won't let me at the moment, not sure why! Will keep trying.

Just thought I should introduce myself. I am on my third Lexus ownership. First was a GS300 Sport, then an IS200 and now another IS200. Lots of other vehicles in between like GTR Skylines, Evos, Cosworths, etc but the Lexus has proved most reliable! I like to play with my cars and most run around 400bhp so the IS200 has already undergone a number of modifications! I have relocated from South Devon to Poole, Dorset and would be keen to get involved in local events or track days which is why I have joined. Look forward to meeting some of you.

I know this is an old post but thought I would add to it for anyone looking to lower their IS200. My last Lexus I lowered 35mm but to be honest didn't really make much difference. My current IS200 however, amongst lots of other modifications, I have lowered 50mm all round!! The rear arches had to be rolled to accommodate the 235/40 R18 wheels and tyres and with 215/40 R18 wheels and tyres on the front, there is no rubbing at all. Speed bumps are manageable and gives a good firm ride!

Got my 18" Ultralite GT2's on now and have suspension ready to fit with a 35mm drop. Unfortunately I do not own any of my other vehicles anymore as the ex wife had them all along with the house hence why have moved, still have my Yamaha R1 though so it's not all bad! The lexus seems to be a lot of car for the money, I just like my rear wheel drive so still text some of the boxes until I get back on my feet. Thanks again guys.

Thanks guys, Have just got wheels and suspension and next on the list is a largeish ss exhaust. Any ideas of what to get or if anyone is selling one?

Hi there, I've recently purchased a lexus is200 and thought I would see what sort of events the owners club hold. I am a member of various owners clubs and have always been into my performance cars. My most recent vehicles were a Nissan Skyline R32 GTR (400bhp), Mitsubishi Evo V (380bhp), Vauxhall VX220 (standard 2.2 na), Toyota MR2's, RS Cosworths, etc, etc. The lexus is standard at the mo but will be looking for some more power from it soon. Suggestions welcome! I enjoy track days and local meets. Would like to know of any regular meets in the Poole area? I have only just moved to Poole from South Devon so still finding my way around.
