hi everybody i recently have notice, when i lock my car with my key fob my indicators doesn't flash that once only when i press it again it will flash 5 times when before when you press the fob once the indicators flash once then click again it will flash 5 times it doesnt flash that once anymore. but i can still hear the car locking?? what could be the problem?? thank you for all you guys that help me before thank you edward

Just need a new bypass lead . I had this problem and it drove it mental My battery drain for fun Check on ebay Lexus is200 bypass lead There's a seller called " in car music " They have the bypass lead that is literally plug and play

shaunyb23/ Thank you for your reply There's me picking up a second hand crappy stereo off eBay tonight for £15 " alba " And tested it out and the same problem I have order my new bypass lead Hopefully it is the bypass lead And I hope this bypass lead isn't a dodgy one haha Thanks again guys

It's a second hand one ... I doubt it's the head unit Well I hope it isn't ... What is the chance it being the head unit ? And what's the chance it's being the bypass lead or ISO lead ?

hello everyone!! please help I recently replace my factory stereo to a pioneer avh 4400bt with a bypass lead which has problems with already # the wiring was wrong on the bypass lead which made the dashboard light constantly on and made a drain on my battery , which I have sorted already now I have notice one of the rear speaker is not working. so I have replace them with some after market 6x9 and I still having the same problem so I thought ill connect the factory stereo back in to test it and all speakers works perfectly with factory stereo but just not with the pioneer avh 4400bt so could it be the iso lead or the bypass lead that is dodgy ?? please can anyone help ?

LEXUS IS200 YEAR : 2000 I recently had this problem with my aftermarket stereo " pioneer avh 4400bt" double din After the install with a new bypass lead My battery will die after 2-3 days if not been turnt on there's a constant drain even when I'm car is off It was driving my mental I couldn't think of why and it was just so innoying took me over a week to figure out and now I want to share with everyone who has this problem Basically on the bypass lead where you plug it into the amp .. There will be 2 yellow wires If you get them tested one yellow wire will be on a constant live and the other yellow with me a dead wire " while the keys are out of the ignition and turnt off " Basically Step one : cut the live yellow wire Step two : cut the dead yellow wire Step three : connect one yellow live to the one dead yellow wire Step four : job done Don't ask how this works but it works Hope this helps everyone problem Many thanks Edward

Hi everyone My central locking is busted and I just purchase a full lock set of a salvage yard.. Which everything I need 1 key Door handle with lock Steering colum , ignitions switch transponder Boot lock barrell ECU Central locking box Glove box lock Does the part number HAS to match my previous one Because the salvage yard said there lexus specialist and it doesn't need to match if you get the full locking kit But others say it has to match?? Anyone out there knows bout this ?. Please help my car is giving me a headache

Thank Chris I reckon I'm going to change the whol locking system which is going to cost around £200 inc labour It's just giving headaches Any one else put there has a solutions? Many thanks

hi everyone , this is my first topic ever made .. I need help I just purchase an is200 x reg My ignitions barrel its jammed, won't twist at all with the key. And the switch behind has been pulled out and damage. So I have to stick the key and use my house keys to turn the switch to start the car. " not a cool look " My original lexus key. lock, unlock and boot bottom doesn't work when I'm standing outside the car but the red light still flashes, if I try and locked it manually with the key , it only locks the drivers door , doesn't even move the locks on the other doors? Basically I can't locked the doors Can anyone help? Or shall I go and get a full locking system for £108 that includes 1 key Door handle with lock Steering colum , ignitions &switch Boot lock ECU Central locking box Glove box lock Some guy told me that my old ecu number needs to match the new one before replacing the whole kit?
