2 new drop links were done on the front as I thought that was the problem but still have a knock.. Aswel as the knock I've a creak or clank from the same area when I'm reversing and turning the wheel.. Any ideas if they could be the same thing gone wrong or?

Yep, my mechanic gave all suspension parts a once over and was embarrassed to tell me he didn't no what it was! That's why my attention has turned elsewhere like the calipers an discs

I've had that problem.. Turned out to be the carrier that hold the brake pads tight and also hand brake shoes were shot. I changed the handbrake shoes but still had slight rattle so took the split pin out of caliper removed the carrier and gave it a lil bend in the way to make it longer if u no what I mean so when I put it back in it was a tight fit.. No rattles now :)

Had a mechanic look at my car the other day as there's a knock coming from front passenger side.. Driving any speed over even little bumps causes a nasty knock. Thought it was a ball joint as they seem to be common problems but Wasnt a ball joint or top mount or anything the mechanic could figure out? I remember seeing something about shot calipers or discs making a knock. Could they be the problem? Any help would be great before it causes more damage. Thanks

My car struggled to start but when it did there was a buzzing sound coming from the rear till I turned it off.. Now it won't start? Anyone no if its the filter relay or pump gone??

I've had the drop links changed on the front as advised by my mechanic because there was a knocking noise coming from front passenger side. After the drop links where changed the same knocking noise is still there when I drive over uneven surfaces or ramps but my "mechanic" has no idea what it is. Any help would be great!

Hi all, I've a 00 lexus is200. It was resprayed but when it was being done the radios antenna was taken out and filled in then painted over. Is there a way of connecting to the old wire and relocating the antenna somewhere else without drilling the roof or?? Any help would be great as I've error3 coming up on CD player so it's really annoying having no CD player or radio stations
