Hi again is there someone out there who is sell a Lexus IS200 with a v8  conversion  If so please get in  contact with me.

Hi all I’m in the London  Area and I’m looking for some help with my is 200 project I’m looking for someone to do an engine swap to take the original Lexus engine out and fit the Lexus I S 400 in v8 is there someone who could help do this or point me in right  Direction  I have  everything  To do job. I can help but I am  disabled  I have an  amputation of right arm this is why I can’t do it myself If I can’t find someone then I’m looking for one that has had  conversion  done  already thanks jason

As said befor key only fits  ignition  Not door lock or boot lock. Going to conext Battery to starter motor and that will put power in car for key fob to work so problem solved So thank you for all the good  advice much appreciated 

You areright that’s why I never reply to it. If he had read my post like you clearly did he would never of posted such a reply. The best reply Iv had is to conext up to starter motor wire and that should put power in Battery to open boors Good way I think 

Got a problem on another Is 200 it opens with the remote on the key but the key does not fit the door lock or boot lock and now the Battery has gone flat on car so key fob don’t work so  now I’m trying to work out how to get in to car can’t lift bonnet to put jump leads on  any ideas

Yes you’re right I do Have a IS 200 and and I have sum LS 400 x3 I found the  sensor but taking it out is another thing altogether I still haven’t worked out how to do it can’t get a spanner on it can’t get a socket on it without stripping half the engine out to get to it There’s a  Metal brackets in the way and that looks like it’s held on underneath the left rocker box looks like the  cam wheel  Has to come off to get this  bracket off but Iv had sum  advice and it could be the camshaft sensor wire  The  shielding on the wire may be the problem... I don’t no yet can’t get time to look at it till weekend need to get it sorted ASAP as need to use car it’s my  daily driver... 

Ok I will have to ring round and see if I can find Sumone to do it. I dident want to pay Lexus prices to get it done. And it don’t have a obd plug not a standard one that most have a plug to fit. 

It’s the mk3 I have no  Engine management lights on dashboard 

Ok!!! Maybe it’s got the fog lights up next to the headlights if that helps.. O yes and it don’t start when it warm up just drops out and then no sparks from coils could it be the icknighters or temperature senser maybe

Thanks for that  which one is that is is about 2or 3 on thereon their I’m luck Iv got one I’m  Breaking and I know that has a good engine on it so I can rob some bits of that engine to see if I can solve the problem but I just need to know which sensor it is to remove it But thank you for your help give me sumthink  Else to look at maybe it could be that let hope it is 

 When Car first broke down it started misfiring and running really rough out of the blue but that has stopped now and when cold runs okay but as it gets warm it stops why I just don’t no help needed

 I help have Lexus LS 400 and it broke down two days ago I’ve changed the two camshaft sensors and  crank shaft sensor  it starts up but as it warms up it just stops and then no spark from coils  found wire to crankshaft sensor broken when I stripped it back there is a blue wire with a wire coming out of the middle with a wire insulating going round the outside it was the white wire that broke so I reconnected it but didn’t know what to do with the wire that runs round the outside of the wire bit like a television aerial  wire car starts but stops when warm need help as don’t know where to go from here  much appreciated 

Right  result the number plate makes my money back I’m putting it away for a  couple  Of years. As I have 2 more ls400 one I’m useing that’s got LPG on it and one I’m  Breaking I’m putting the  Engine in my much love is200 once engine in Iv got two  turbos to put on. I’m after a  supercharger  For it as well I no  they make one for it in the states  About £600 plus post cost so I’m looking in to that. I’m going to do a  video on the  build  That I will post on here I’m looking at about 8 months hopefully So  Watch this    Space. JASON

Pick this LS 400 up for £400 last weekend it has 175000 miles 4  owners  From new has  private numberplate  That I had  valued  At £750 the car is mint there’s no rush no where. So Iv now  squirrelled it away  frozen in time I should of taken better  pictures of car I will take better pictures at sum point just  thought I’d share my good luck with you all..

Yes Iv  done timing belt and water pump on and LS 400 before not that hard job to do just time I time myself to see how long it  Took 9 1/2 hours. I will post reg number later as I need to go and  write it down as I don’t know off the top of my head  It’s a 1996  first addition I’m putting  Engine in my is200 and doing the  Break  upgrades as well. And once Iv got Engine in I have two turbos to fit on  Engine then  Rolling Road  To set it all up. The  turbos are rated 500 bhp  each but I can’t see it giving that much to be  honest but it will be a fun  project at the end of the day. I’m  located in London by the way

Why’s that  important I’m not selling reg number and it in my  garage as car has no wings and no boot lid and no  passenger door that why Iv got it in  garage as it’s ****** down here and I dident want the rain getting in 

It has got sum  Service history but I will give it a full service all  Oil‘s  Engine gearbox  differential  if all oil filters pollinator filter new plugs and  timing belt and waterpump and we should be all good to go 

I would of  fault  There’s sum LS400  owners out there that need sum bits I don’t want to Skrap the car with bits left on it. And then I get a  message asking me have I got this bit on that day and I’ve let it go to scrapyard and I hope people get in contact with me for some bits before it goes to the scrapyard in this clouds. If I can help Sumone out with there ls400

as I can’t keep the car for ever.. I no as soon as I Skrap the car Sumone going to ask me for sumthink of the car.. it always go’s like that.... jason
