  1. Good evening all

I thought I'd contribute to this thread as I too experienced electrical issues which appeared to be due to the Battery. I did charge it but replaced it as a precaution but had lost the infotainment, no stereo, nav screen. The only thing that works is the CD eject button.

I've replaced the Battery and checked all the fuses, the likely candidates in the passenger footwell and under the bonnet. Used the Carista OBDC connector and there are no faults. I'm wondering whether the infotainment is faulty after the electrics going haywire.

Any ideas if there is a procedure for resetting the system? I've tried the disconnect Battery, keep the stereo button pressed for 5 seconds with ignition on (foot off break).

    Thanks

  2. Hi fellow Lexus lovers

First post on here having owned a number of Lexus vehicles so be gentle 😊

I have power mirrors on my IS F-sport 300h 2014 model and miss the automatic folding on my previous RC. To rectify this I have purchased 2x kits that can be connected to an existing power mirror circuit. The kit was manufactured in China so the wiring diagram isn't exactly intuitive and the terminology such as "signal" is ambiguous, see the attached diagram.

I'm pretty confident with auto electrics but wondered if anyone could advise on the wiring for the following in the door looms:

    Output for opening mirror

    Output for closing mirror

    Door open signal

    Door close signal

I can a meter to identify ACC ON and a constant 12v feed but if anyone can advise that would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Pete

  3. Good afternoon all

Having reviewed the numerous postings on this forum regarding the 2nd gen in particular I wondered whether someone could help me locate the latest 'BIOS upgrade' as it appears there are fixes to known problems.

My current version is dated March 2012 where the original supplier in the UK provided some assistance but unfortunately they are no longer responding to email queries.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Pete
