Many thanks Ian/guys. Just sent a message to Andy to see if he can find anything. Otherwise I am tempted to go for the item on ebay. Will call a few stores tomorrow to see if they have the 'holding base'.

Thanks Ian, so this means I ll have to replace the entire wing mirror (as the plastic holder is also gone)

Dear Friends, someone stole the passenger side view mirror (LEXUS IS200 2001). The picture shows what is left (there is a cable hanging out (not sure what that is for). Please can you help me figure out what parts I need to buy and where from? Many thanks for any help I can get.
