  1. Hi guys, i get a good thump from the rear end (you can hear it and feel it) when accelerating after decelerating, or decelerating after accelerating.I've (i hope) narrowed it down to play in the diff mounts. I'm going to replace all the diff mounts, front and rear. But i have a question which i hope you can answer: I've sourced the following parts which i (think) i need. I only have my doubts about part nr 41653 22010. part nr 41651 30060 rear lower diff mount (single hole), rubber. CHECK. (1x) part nr 41651(A) 30070 rear upper diff mount (duo holes) rubber. CHECK (1x) part nr 41654 22010 front lower diff mount (stopper) rubber. CHECK (2x) part nr 41653 22010 front upper diff mount (stopper) (2x)........ What's it made of?? I don't know what it's made of... If it's metaal, i won't be needing it. If it's rubber i'll definitely be needing it! Has antbody here had their diff detatched from the subframe and checked/replaced these items?? I'd like to know what it;s made of. Please, all help is much appreciated. I wil be sooo happy if this problem is solved as it turns a beautiful car into a nightmare to drive car. Greetings from Holland and thanks, Dale
  2. Well the answer is yes. I've been using an ebay sourced solid lightweight flywheel for the last 6 months or so. No problems. Acceleration is noticeably quicker. Comfort:a little less, but that's to be expected.
  3. Gentlemen, i've purchased a lightweight flywheel and intend to fit it asap. I intend to have all the bits for the job before i start of course, but i have one small problem: Flywheel bolt lengths/dimensions. The new flywheel has a flange thickness of 17.5mm. What I need to know is the original bolt length and/or the thickness of the original flywheel flange to determine my "new" bolt length. I understand that there's a bolt length difference between pre and post 07-2002 models too. Does anybody here on the forum have access to this sort of info? (Bolt length pre and post 07,2002). (I can't lay the car up as i need it for work, otherwise i'd crack it all open and then source the parts...) Heeeeelp!!!!! Thanks in advance and greetings from sunny Holland (btw, my car is from 19,08,2002 and not as in the topic title, 7, 2002. Ican't seem to be able to change that.)
  4. Hi guys, i'm needing a replacement flywheel for my nov.2002 1gfe is200. I live in Holland and i'm not having much luck here finding a lightweight SM replacement. Could someone put me onto a distributor for the part i need? It doesn't need to be from Jun, but i am looking for a lighweight SM job which can be used with a std clutch. I'm rapidly losing hair over this... please help.....? Thanks in advance, Daley
