Hi ive owned my lexus (IS200) for a few weeks now,and for the first time i washed the car myself...i noticed that there was halo lights in the headlights... I tried putting my lights on but i have no side lights only the dipped bin which the man put xeons (i think thats what they are) ...the ones with the little silver ballast box etc... So i opened the bonnet to fit that all the wires for the headlights are all cut/choped/butchered..and only the ballast ones work.. What would i need todo to get them working...Isit simply just re-wiring them or do i have to take the ballast lights out first... Sorry to sound dumb,but i am..Many thanks for your help and advice in advance..

Im going to go for the white ones there amazing...only thing tho,on the the link you gave for the blue ones,they mention that some soldering needs doing..Is that case on mine also? Or is it just plug and play so to speak?

Sorry to jump on the wagon like,but did you do the dash with blue lights? I want to do mine (as between 30mph-60mph as gone) but just want to see what it looks like first,so was wondering has anyone got any pics with blue lights on there speedo

I had the same problem with my system too (well read driver and front pass speaker not working too) Turned out to be the cheap dodgy lead on ebay.Ordered another one,solved my problem..Hope this is your problem too and not your head unit

i forgot about this post,i did have a look in the end...and yeh it was a sat nav model but i decided to take it all out.I dont really use a sat nav much and plus it would of no doubt needed updating lol. But yeh thank you everyone for your help...and erm...i got some sat nav buts lying around if any one intrested..Even got a gen lexus cd/dvd in there too :O haha thanks again

Dont know if it will be any help to you but ive just taken all my satnav stuff out my car and got what looks like an orgianl lexus (GB) disk in there.Maybe try that?

Thank you everyone for all your help. But if i was to find a cheep sat nav screen,would it just be plug and play or would i have to sync or something to register on the car? Thanks once again...No doubt i be back on here soon with another problem,as im unlucky like that...But least these fourm as great freidnly people with spot on advice cheers :D

what goes where the remote holder goes (near handbreak) on models without the sat nav..is it easy to remove?

hi i dont know if my last post showed up as this laptop is abit s.... Well i looked in the boot as you said and there is like a cd deck kinda of thing and says navigation system on it.Am i right thinking this is the control panal? Anyway,how do i remove the sat nav holder,and what goes there in its place? Many thanks or all your help so far.. P.S - Is therre still a market for my sat nav bits or is it something that will stay in the shed for many years? As im taking the radio out because it dont work its got the err3 message

lol how would i know if it had one to start with? Its an SE model but thats where me know how ends lol

i just have a empty space there. the remote sits nicely into the holder and the holder as 3 gold pins i think..do you think someone took the screen out?

Also ... can you change the rear view mirror...because the one i got is look really zoomed in sort of thing or is this standard...Thanks again

Hi, I have just joined this site as i have just brought my first IS200se ( I love it :D ) The car is fine but im abit confused... The car as the standard radio (6cd changer one) But by the Gear stick there is a remote...Ive changed battieres in it and still no joy,so looked on ebay and its ment to be a sat nav remote..And it fits into the sat nav holder (Buy the handbrake...) So all i want to know is...Does this come with all the lexus`s or did it have a sat nav at some point or as it just been put there to `look good` MAny thanks in advance... My car is a 2000 Lexus IS200 SE Thank you :D P.S - As i have just joined...Thought it be nice to say...HELLO :D
