Just an update, managed to find a cat back system on e bay from gent on here from chesterfield, it's a Cobra system and sounds great, Quiet on idle and cruising and sounds like thunder when on WOT. Just got to recitify a few niggling faults else where on the car now and covert it to Sport spec.

Whats afaiaw??? Not really bothered about consumption....and the MOT aint a problem as I work at a Toyota dealer, as for what im trying to acheive.....not much....the cat bolts are getting ropey so I was just wondering of lack of cats would bring the eml on....I suspect yes as there are O2 sensors after them. A bit more V8 noise would be nice.

Howdy all, my GS430 esxhaust is mainly weld and bog now, was wondering if anyone has or knows if I remove all 3 cats will the EML come on or will it have a effect on the engine running. Cheers in advance. Chris

Does the car have ECO mode??? If it's like the Auris and Prius ECO mode shuts down the PTC heater in the matrix so when the engine isnt isnt running the coolant cools. In normal and power modes this doesn't happen. Apologises if the info I've given doesn't help, I'm unfamilar with the Lexus Hybrid features but I work at a Toyota dealer and am fairly sure the systems are the same. Chris
