I've a 2001 RX300. The 6 CD multichanger has worked fine, but after I last swapped around discs, the unit doesn't want to "eat" the magazine. I can gently push it where it then stays not engaged and not coming out! At this stage, the screen says "No CD Magazine".
I can get the magazine out by gently prying with a plastic fork (well, its was readily to hand!) and then the servos or whatever take over and pop out the magazine. Does that mean there is power to the unit? I've checked fuses. There is no light on the eject button.
Any help would be very appreciated. I'm loathe to take it to my nearest dealer as they are a Toyota garage and I'm not convinced they don't just want to get me to spend money, money, money.
