  1. I need to remove the rear seat on my 93 LS400 to remove the struts and change the springs but cannot get the base out. According to the posts I have read there should be 2 tabs which are pulled [or pushed?] to release the seat base but I can't find these on mine. I've had a really good look and felt all along the slight gap between the floor and seat base but can't feel anything like a tab. Anyone have any ideas as I am struggling. The car is standard - no power rear seat - and doesn't look to have been messed with.
  2. I need to replace the bulb in the gear selector indicator in the centre console and have a couple of queries: 1. I can't see how to remove the wood trim which I assume I need to remove - does anyone know to get it out? 2. I can't work out how to remove the gear knob. Does this need to come off and if so, how is it removed? Has anyone replaced the bulb on a '93 - is it a difficult job as I would rather do without the selector being lit than damage the console which is in perfect condition. Thanks, Andy
  3. I have just bought an 80,000 mile '93 LS400 and want to check the cabin [pollen] filter. Can anyone tell me how to access it on a '93? There is a panel below the glovebox but I can't see how to remove it and I don't have a workshop manual. Also, are there actually 2 separate filters? Thanks, Andy
