hi didnt someone on here port a head a few years ago and said it was possible to get aabout 5/8 bhp i wa going to do mine at some stage.i used to port A+ enginesand ford kent pinto engines back in the day with decent returns. simon

hi all ive started stripping the rear end off the is200 for a 13 year old car that hasnt been looked after the last 8 yrs that was worked on by a very ruff garage shes not that bad.a couple of small holes in the rear inner wheels archers both sides and rear sills have a couple of holes nothing to bad the one im stuck on is dropping the subframe off have any of you done it.there is a black plastic box at the side of the diff housing does that stay bolted to the floor or does it come off with the diff!. regards simon p.s its going to be a long road

hi all hope your all well ive started stripping the back suspension on my 200 ill post some photos of updates with the very slow progress lol.i saw my wifes sister the other day and asked her if she ever refilled the air con they never used it in 8 yrs of owning the car (she misses it by the way) i was thinking of removing it with there be any bhp gains from doing so. cheers simon.

hi tim ive a lot of work ahead of me with the 200 but even in its poor state it still drives good over christmas i,ll get her on axle stand and take all the suspension parts off even the diff and give it a good clean and paint. simon

hi all firts question poly bush,s when changing to poly bushs is there a set order in changing them say upper wishbones or lower or say anti roll bars. lowered springs ive seen them from as little as 25mm to 40mm would going straight to 40mm hurt anything. cheers simon

hi all great forum a little bit of info on my is200 back in 2000 my father inlaw bought a new is200 in metalic green (my fav lexus colour) kept it 7ish years then offered it to us my wife and me at the time i turned down the offer.we were expecting our first baby so he gave it to my wifes sister 6 years in theyve bought a new car and i got the 200 its a good job really they have neglected her and she,s not in great shape yet.Jobs to do are paint both sides my brother inlaw used to paint for toyota repair all the wheels as there are chips in all of them.then a good fettle it was just a car to them idiots! best thing is she has never been driven hard. my wife is the same has here sister its just a car NOT to me its a lexus is200. simon
