Was a bit worried after reading the posts about the RX400h battery not being big enough and people leaving the car standing for only week to come back to a flat battery! Imagine my surprise then when I return home after almost 3 weeks and the car starts first time! I have a '08 plate and I wonder if they had made any modifications? Left the auto lights off as suggested - don't know whether that helped or not? I order to register for Congestion Charge Exemption, you need an alternative fuel conversion certificate, which just looks like a generic photocopied bit of paper, but I've just seen on the one form my Prius that it's gt the vehicle reg on it has to be vehicle specific, rather than just make and model specific! Thanks anyway!

Have just purchased a '08 RX400h but didn't receive the alternative fuel discount certificate. I wanted to register for the discount before it expires on 24th Dec. Would anyone be able to email me a copy of theirs so I can send it off ASAP. Thanks, Shye

Will shortly be leaving the Lexus community for an A3 1.8 T Sport. Just wanted to say I have had a great 2.5 years with the car. It's just that it's now 5 years old and done 50k miles so I felt I had to let it go. It was definitely worth more than the 7.5k that I traded it for. If only it was slightly more economical (bring on the diesel I say) as I was only averaging 21mpg in town. I would have considered trading up for a 300, but couldn't find one for less than 15k and it wouldn't have helped the economy situation This owner's club has been a wealth of information and I only wish the Audi club was anywhere nearly as helpful. You never know, I may be back, let's see what the new IS looks like...

Has anyone had/enquired about installing original HIDs light i.e. including auto-levelling. Is this even possible. How much would it be? Thanks in advance!

Hi Guys! Can anyone tell me what and when the revisions have been to the IS200 over the years. Am looking to trade in my 2000 V IS200 for a newer model, but not sure what year/revision to go for, I know some of them have head airbags, arm rests etc. SW

Just thought I'd share my experiences on this one as I've just had it installed today. Looking good so far - didn't realise just how easily the IS200 disasembles :o The whole thing took about 2 hours to install - the guy (Peter) who did it comes highly recommended. The Nokia carkit looks like a factory fit, colour matches perfectly. Mounted just left of the instrument panel. Mounted the additional speaker just above the driver's footrest Voice dialling works with both Nokia and SonyEricsson phones (8910i and T610) B) Unfortunately couldn't get the mute working - tried soldering it to the brown ?mute wire but there must be a low voltage from the carkit so it mutes it all the time or music just comes out of the right speaker. Carphone Warehouse matched an internet price so got it for £100!!! Hope this helps anyone thinking about getting one installed!

Hi Everyone! Need a little help! Recently had the dreaded ERR3 on my CD player nad finally got it replaced after over 2 months!!!! Recently been getting a popping noise most times I start the car, especially after a cold start. Any ideas anyone. Be grateful for a swift response as the 4 year warrantly expires 1st Jan!!! Also (not sure if it's related) yesterday my TRC and ABS light kept flashing on and off, left it for a while and it sorted itself out. Thankx!
