Yeah the fans do stop, I've got a replacement switch coming as the guy suspected the new1 may be at fault. Cheers :)

Is there more than 1 switch on the car? Or do you mean is the replacement part the correct one? I've had the ac on and off, the fans are overrunning (full wack) not just low like when the ac is on

Hi guys, 2 questions.... Does the expansion tank come off of the fan housing? And my rad fans stopped working (temp went almost red!) fans work so I replaced the temp sensor (fan switch)..... But now the fan is running constant :( Any ideas?

Just thought I'd post a small rant, I read many posts saying that it was really hard to change the is200 oil filter.... I've had mine 6 months and it's due it's service, and by chance so is my friends. I have changed both this week very easily with no problems! Every1 moaned about access ect, but as long as you removed the plastic splash guard I can't see what the problem is?? It was just as easy as any other car, and using a certain type of filter spanner.... Not needed really, just wear latex gloves for grip and out they come. Mini rant over lol ;)

Hey guys does any1 have a heater matrix that'll fit my friends is200? His is leaking badly :( and the old owner had bypassed the matrix so that the cooling system was working and the matrix was blanked off.

You should make a new post buddy, more people will see it rather than post on some1 else's old post. And u can get a disc from Lexus or a website is cheaptoyotaparts :)

I've read the usual ribbon cable threads but I have a slightly different issue My screen powers up with the Lexus logo and then goes black, this is different to most posts as they either say it's completely blank or people have colours on the screen? I've looked at the cable (completely removed sat nav and cable) and it's clean and looks undamaged But I'm not ruling it out! And my disc is present, BUT it looks like it has a wear line around it..... Could this line be what's causing my screen to go blank after the initial load up? Please let some1 have had this issue and have a resolution otherwise I'm removing the system and putting the stock dash tray in its place which I've already got.

Any1 breaking or know of a breaking is200 in hants/dorset? I need a 11 spoke alloy in grey, or may consider just the normal 5 spoke alloy Also the dash tray, looking to delete the sat nav. So the sat nav is up for grabs if any1 is willing to take a chance on it? I have no idea what's wrong with it, it's not worked since I've owned it. Comes complete inc disc. Also after a LSD for a friend. Cheers guys :)

Yeah I get that but surely the millions of people around the world who have loads of keys on there and never have a problem speak volumes!? Like I said I only have my house key on there, and my IS is the ONLY car I've ever had that the key bashes around like this.

I only have my house key and a tesco club card lol! I think I'd be worried I'd loose just a 'single' key that's the prob

Mine and a friends ignition keys annoy us banging and rattling against the dash, who else gets annoyed by this and has any1 found a resolution? :)

Does any1 know if you can split the is200 head and tail lights? I am thinking of painting the insides black/dark in order to make the unit itself dark/tinted. As my headlights are dark inside already but I think that's how they came as they are aftermarket LED ones.

Any1 got a LSD to fit an IS200? my mate wants to fit one in his SE as he's realised my sport goes sideways a lot better than his ;)
