    Thanks for the replies. I tried that but no joy. I could not get past the fourth song on my iPod without it freezing. I turned off all the artwork options in the car. BUT..... I think I have it now....... I found a forum that mentioned the artwork stored on the device. So I opened the iPod on my computer and in the hidden folders on the device I found another folder of artwork. I deleted everything in this off the device. I am now on track number 19 and no freezing or crashing so far. Fingers crossed tomorrow will bring further good news. Thanks all who write on these forums, there really is some great helpers.     Hi Keefey56, I have a Tom Tom running off the USB and it works and charges fine. I ran a cable over the back side of the arm rest, which is hidden by the seat. This cable goes all the way around under the hard plastic of the centre unit and up to under the steering wheel. I also ran another cable to the boot for a cool box that I occasionally use. Additionally I have headrest DVD players running off the cig lighter socket. Hope this helps Mark Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    Hi, has anyone managed to turn off the restriction of not being able to see AV input while driving. I have just hooked up my iPhone using mirroring but when I take off the foot brake the screen goes blank. I have a non Nav and watching my TomTom app through AV.     Update: still having issues with iPod Classic 160gb so I'm now using a iPhone 4s (64gb). I don't enter the pass code on the SIM Card but have 30gb of music on board. All going well so far nothing like the constant freezing issues I was having with the iPod classic. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    Thanks Lee and Steve, I managed to get to the CD player and remove it. I am attaching some pics should anyone want to see. I was trying to connect an iPod via a Gromaudio cable, I got in touch with their tech support team who advised this option wouldn't work. I am still looking for a way to connect directly into CD without using USB as it keeps crashing my iPod.

    Hi LeeG, Referring to your post about headrest installation and opening up the centre console. I am having issues with my iPod which keeps freezing and want to try and reinstall a GromAudio iPod kit I had in my RX300. Did you manage to get to the front CD unit? I would be very interested in some pics or advice.. I had a look over the weekend and want to avoid scratching or breaking anything.... Thanks for your help...Mark... @ianwilson, Hope they find your car soon.... nothing like the long wait for one of the best cars around.! (we have all been through it)..

    Hi, I waited 6 months for my 2014 IS 300h F Sport and it was worth the wait. It's exciting every time I sit in it..... But I have one small issue. When drving along listening to a libray of approx 22,000 songs on my iPod Classic 160gb the device constantly freezes and I have to pull out the USB connection and reset the device. I have tried reducing the number of songs stored gradually and now down at 7000 and it is still happening. It happens at least twice or three times a day. Anyone got any suggestions or solutions? Thanks...
