  1. Many thanks. I've now managed to source the part I need.
  2. Yes please scudney. Thanks.
  3. Thank you Mike, its been a while since I've been on here but will revisit the rules. Thanks again. PS glad to hear you're a friendly bunch.
  4. Hello, I really hope someone can help me please. I am needing two rear brake backing plates for my Lexus is200 sport, they are badly corroded and causing the rear wheel area to get very hot and burning smell!! Genuine far too expensive but having problems trying to source secondhand, I've even looked on local salvage companies. Apparently you can't get aftermarket ones? Would really appreciate some advise and help. Thanking you in advance. Typical women not really sure how to source this and searched internet and not really of any help at min! 😃
  5. Thanks so much for your replies, they have been a great help. We found some corroded wires in fuses in near side box as suggested, after tampering with them the lights went out for a bit but then all the dash went mad and came back on. My mechanic is going to take the box out and try and sort it which said isn't easy and not a 5 minute job, as need to mark all wires so know where they go back. At least fingers crossed its runny well. Thanks so much again for your help, it saved a lot of time as we initially thought the dash would have to come out, thank goodness not. Cheers all 😄
  6. Hello everyone, I am a new member and only had my Lexus is200 sport a year. It's been a super car so far. I know it's a lot to ask as only just joined and typical woman know nothing about cars! Ha ha. I have developed two warning lights on my dash, one being the oil light and the other reference a rear bulb?, they both came on same time and yes I have checked the oil level, ha ha. All lights work, bizarre and the rev counter doesn't work and also the mpg gauge doesn't work, confused, has anyone come across this before or any advice please, would really appreciate any thoughts please. Thanking you all in advance. 😊
