  1. All that work and your selling , shame mate , to be honest I would rather have the Lexus , you will get bored with the evo , too harsh a ride etc . Bit savage but good luck mate .

Yes the Evo are a bit harsh on the ride quality but I have always said I would get one at some point. My m8 is gonna be foe sale soon and I always liked the look of this particular car.

Wow all that effort to just sell on. Some lucky buyer

I know tell me about it,I have a habbit of doing this with my cars,I don't tend to keep them very long.Yes the new owner will be very lucky as you say,it's all been done now,the car looks and is mechanically so much better since I have owned it,put lots of time and money into gettting it as I wanted and all the mechanics done to.New MOT next week then up for sale.

    Thanks.Lee.

  3. Had a really good deal yesterday at ATS Euromaster, I wanted my air con regased as it was non existant, anyway I had the regas and the anti bacterial treatment all for £33, nice and cold now, it's spot on.

    Here's a few pics.

I managed to straighten the rear number plate and looking at the rear lights in this pics, they look the same, I'm not sure now if it was just the sun light that made them look different last weekend,I'm still not 100% sure though.

  4. I just replaced all 6 coil packs on my IS200 last week........cost me R7500! :megaangry:

I was advised not to buy aftermarket ones, but instead should get the OEM Denso ones from Lexus themselves....

Must say though, the car feels like a different car after changing these coil packs......Fuel consumption seems to have improved as well....

New ones are very expensive as you say, well the Denso and NGK coils anyway, at least you have got it sorted now and it's running better.

    Thanks.Lee.

  5. Finally, my mate fitted the rear plate on the wonk, must have had to many shandys the night before..lol.

Replaced the rear light but once fitted, I have now noticed it's the wrong colour tint to match the other rear light,I'm not happy, gotta find another light now and I don't even know which of the 3 different types it is.

See the difference in the rear lights?

    This is the correct light

This is the replacement which is a fair bit lighter.

  6. Got myself a replacement LSD diff which has been fitted, used Gulf Competion LSD oil and replaced the 2 x 10mm collapsable washers for the drain and top level bungs.

Got myself new original dealer number plates and tax disc made up.

Not much left to do for now, fit number plates, aluminium sport pedals and a few oil breather hoses to fit.

then off to get my windows retinted.Once all this is done, gonna fit a new fuel pressure regulator and it's off for mapping then.

    Thanks.Lee.
