  1. Well only joined up today as I had a little issue with dash light, but that's now sorted thanks to the forum and a couple of decent members. Well I've been a Vauxhall man for years my last motor being a 2.8 V6 Turbo Signum, loved them cars had 3 in all. But it gave up the game with a very expensive ecu issue so I looked about and found myself a well priced IS250 59 plate, so I tuck the plunge and bought it. Great car got to say but a little squashed for me as I'm 6" 4. Not to worry I'll manage. Only annoying thing with the car I have found is the drivers seat squeaks, massive wing mirrors attract the dirt on the glass big time. No auto wiper function. Apart from that it's decent on fuel on a long run and it's very very comfortable even tho a little cramped. More than powerful enough.
  2. I got the hids4u 5000k 35w kit. It's all sorted now thanks to disconnecting the battery. Cheers Shannon
  3. Yes I did test the lights while maf was disconnected and air box out. I never started engine just pressed the start button twice to get lights on. I find it strange getting the traction light on. Ok the engine light as this is electrical. I'll update once I've disconnected the battery. Cheers
  4. I will give that a try thanks. I did remove the air filter / maf to gain access. I did not disconnect the battery to do the install as I thought I may loose radio code. If I disconnect it for the 5 minutes will I loose the radio ?
  5. Hi all new here with my is250. I have fit a hid kit today. All seamed fine all working ok. Until I go to park up and I notice the engine warning light and traction light on on the dash. I give it a bit of a run thinking they might clear but they have not. Any ideas on my issue Cheers
