  1. Hi guys, this is my first post here and unfortunately I have to tell you about a huge problem about my IS220d. I came to Scotland from Italy by car, and at the end of the trip, after a couple of weeks I got to Edinburgh, for the first time after 165000 km, it went in limp mode, dpf failure. Obviously I looked into the problem on the internet and opted for the dpf removal. I read just on this community of some extremely qualified garages to do the job, but unfortunately they were too far from Edinburgh, especially because the car didn't speed up over 40 km/h. I found a garage in Glasgow, last week took there the car and it was the the worst decision of my life. The car worked fine just for 3 or 4 days, then it started discharging a huge and abnormal amount of white smelly smoke from the exhaust, together with suspect traces of a black fluid that looks like oil. I assure that I cannot use the car, because the ones behind me couldn't drive safely because of the smoke. I tried to contact the garage again, and they told me that the emulator had been set up well and the fifth injector detached, so the problem was due to turbo failure or something else. Now... I'm not experienced in this things, I just know that I went there with a stupid and common dpf problem, and got out of there with a suspect and much more serious engine damage. Excluding the smoke the car seems to go normally, but honestly I'm afraid of using it (and I suppose I could be fined for environmental pollution), and certainly I don't want to make again the same mistake getting back the car to Glasgow. What do you think could the problem be due to? Is it possible that everything is related to the emulator badly set up? I checked the coolant liquid looking for traces of oil in it, and nothing, apparently everything was ok, then checked the oil and was ok as well. What can I do? Please help me... http://it.tinypic.com/r/28rjozb/8
