  1. Pulling onto the drive the other day i noticed a loud noise coming from the rear of the car, like a metal hitting metal tapping sound. I looked under the car expecting it to be the BC Coilover shot but instead found the brake caliper to be completely loose on the lower side, both fixing/mounting bolts are tight and sound as far as i can tell. however the (slide pin? circled in the image below) seems to have snapped. how can i remove and fix this? cheers for any help the image isn't of my caliper, i was unable to get any photos so found an image online to help explain my issue.
  2. Long time since I've been on here but after selling my old IS200 and getting myself a IS250SE-L I've given in and decided to mod it! So I'm calling on all the guys with the aggressive set ups! I've got some BC Racing coils waiting to be fitted but I'm also looking to pick some wheels up soon! I've found some nice wheels with the following specs: F 19"x8.5 ET35 R 19"x9.5 ET38 Obviously the car is going fairly low otherwise I would have gone with springs! So will these wheels fit without any arch rolling or spacers to clear the brakes? cheers for any help! May have to make a progress thread when this all kicks off as I've been looking at some body kits from the US and its all very tempting! (and expensive!!)
  3. Hi all. First post on here after stalking the forums annonymously for the past few weeks! Bought myself a tidy IS200 Sport! Absoloutly love it after driving a french car for a year its a huge upgrade to say the least! Anyway im looking to get some alloys. found some but they are rather large... 18 x 8.5j ET25. I am aware of the correct fitment but after seeing another black is200 on these alloys I am determained to find a way! These are the alloys - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XXR-521-18-x-8-5J-ET25-5x114-GOLD-POLISHED-WIDE-RIMS-ALLOYS-WHEELS-SET-x4-Z1948-/231057394662?pt=UK_Cars_Tyres_RL&hash=item35cc180be6 what would need to be done to get these to fit? I'm thinking spacers? slight camber? rolling arches? I am also looking to lower it on coilovers but that will be next months investment! cheers for any suggestions!
