Thanks guys for the feedback, getting excited now! One thing, does anyone know if any Toyota dealer would be able to service/repair the car using Lexus parts etc. or would it vary from one Toyota dealer to another? Or would it be best to use a pucker Lexus dealer though more expensive? Thanks again

Cheers Steve 2006 Yep it looks OK to me to. Cash buyer so I'll offer em £6 grand and see what happens! Seriously if it comes with a years warranty, FSH and long MOT I'm really interested. Would have preferred a straight 3.0 petrol non-hybrid as I don't know much about hybrids (more things to go wrong) but it does look good. I'll let you know how it goes. Appreciate your time & help

Hi Steve 2006 Wow what a quick response! Thanks for the kind advice I will take heed! My only doubt is the proximity of a main Lexus dealer for servicing/repairs etc. The two GS300's I've seen so far for sale both had a 1 years Lexus dealer warranty so that provides peace of mind but it's getting the car to them if things do go wrong! Anyway thanks for your time, I'll certainly post any links to cars that take my fancy for further advice. Cheers

Hi everyone. Just joined LOC as I'm going to be purchasing my first Lexus in the next few months. It's my 50th birthday treat to myself! My choice rightly or wrongly will be a GS300 value approx 12 grand with about 30/- on the clock. Any advice about pitfuls or what to watch out for would be really welcome. Thanks Jonny
