Driver side low beam has failed today, strange no message from the on board systems. Any guidance or procedure on replacing the bulb appreciated. Looks accessible through the wheel arch. Also which bulb. Is it a D4S type bulb 6000k colour? Peter

I ordered 2 x front and 2 x rear sensors (as delivery was the same total and it would be useful to have a pair in hand. Ordered from Rockauto USA on thursday night 28th August and they arrived at my door in Ireland on the monday morning 1st Sept via Fedex. Thats as good a delivery I would get if I was buying mail order in Ireland or from UK so excellent delivery. Quality seems fine and v good price. I fitted 1 x front and 1 x rear today today tuesday and they fit perfectly and work ok so as a sacrificial part which is effectively a shorting link can't fault them so far for the money.

yes price is extraordinary in UK - IRL!! I ordered front and rear wear sensors from Rockauto in USA yesterday. Total cost including Fedex delivery to Ireland is 44 euro. I am not sure if there will be further customs charges on delivery but can't be much anyway. Will be interesting to see how good they are.

No despite the high road tax the roads are v poor in comparison to UK roads and lots of motorway tolls as well!

Thanks for the advice. Interesting stuff for sure. My VIN is before those quoted in the TSB so could be applicable. Hope its not cylinder heads! I think the fault code seems to point in the likely direction as it "feels" like a fuel issue. I might do an oil change and pull the plugs to see what they are like - although it had a major interval service at Lexus dealer 10k kms back and they should have replaced the iridium plugs at that service according to the manual

I noticed over the last couple of weeks a slight hesitation on acceleration when running between 30kph and 80kph (approx). Car seemed to be surging very slightly. This morning it was more noticeable and at one point there appeared to be very little throttle response when joining a motorway - actually thought it was going to stop dead. No warning lights or other symptoms and engine sounds ok no misfire etc. Had the supplying dealer stick it on OBD reader today and the fault "insufficient or low fuel system pressure" was all that came up? Its going in next week to see if they can get to the bottom of this but in my view it would be fuel pump / fuel filter related. Any views or history with this type of fault? Peter

Colin Thanks for help re phone contact transfer. I had a go at the Prius program but my vehicle kept disconnecting the bluetooth on transfer. I tried your other suggestion with another phone and as I had a spare Blackberry I used that and it worked a treat so job done. Many thanks. I'll post some photos in the next few days as requested. Hello. Last week I purchased a 2007 LS460SE with 60,000 miles 1 owner and full Lexus SH. Usual spec with Mark Levinson stereo etc. I am simply in awe of this car and cannot wipe the grin off my face driving it. I had driven a 1998 BMW 728i from new and had 380,000 miles on it but after 16 years felt time for a change!! actually it was a great car and its still going. I did a deal with local BMW main dealer on a 2007 730d and was due to collect last week when I test drove the LS. Game over really and that was that. I took the wife along to see the Lexus and help me make the decision I had already made. Her view was that the LS was "infinitely better" than the 730d so that was that. Car is mint and only downside is the annual 1800 euro road tax here in Ireland - BMW was 1500 euro so a little less. I have a question which I don't see covered in the various threads here but I think is a known issue. I have an iphone 5S which connects with bluetooth to the car and allows me to make and receive calls but cannot transfer contacts the transfer just fails. Any ideas or guidance on a workaround for this please? Peter
