Re gassed 3 months or so ago at national tyre place - told no leaks and worked fine, until now not cold anymore. Not sure how this works. Will it have run out already. Will there be a leak? Thinking of going back but just want to know a few facts first. Also see my post bit further down re cut out

I would say yes really really quiet and constant in the majority - just sometimes it's hard to describe its just like it has a little rev whilst ticking over not to increase the revs to a constant but in an increase / decrease sort of way.

After 2hr ish drive twice now but with long period of months in between cut out at junction. Starts again but bit laboured then fine. Help - I love my lexy - just done 2 nights camping slept inside - who needs a Campervan?

Hi, thank you so much for this I really appreciate it. I will endeavour to buy the part. Do I take it, Will I need to get that from a main dealer. It means a lot to keep this car on the road because I love it, but being 14 yrs old that might take a bit of doing but if I can I sure will. Thanks again S

Colin, on the picture I can see a pipe attached to an inlet on the top part of the air filter. This is attached fine on my car but the culprit pipe runs parallel to this, is the same size but is separated about 6inches down. It is definetly a vacuum pipe of some kind due to the suction when you put your finger on it. S

Hi, thank you for replying but I can honestly say I didn't notice. I don't like driving fast so was too busy looking at the road. However, all I would say is that it went smashing up to that, loads of power through the gears and then just went flat as if the revs dropped from the sound of the engine. Since then I have checked under the bonnnet and have noticed a pipe that appears to be in half near to the accelerator pully. If you put your finger over the upper end whilst the engine is running its as if it has suction. I think it stems from near the inlet part of the exhaust on the upper part and the bottom half disappears down past the radiator towards the air conditioning. It runs along the side of the air filter and is next to another pipe. It doesnt appear split just separated as if it should join the other bit with some sort of connection. I know if will be impossible for you to perhaps know what I mean but you never know if you are an expert! S

Hi I have a 2000 rx300 which bottoms out on power at 85mph. Up until then and through the transmission everything is fine. Thoughts? S

Hi - not sure what waze is? I know what you mean re bothering but in all honesty I have been using apps forever and they are what they are - apps. Although I have a new other car it doesn't have sat nav but neither does my old girl lexy. If she could have then I would like to try. I am not easily put off. If it can be done then great. Are there roof rails for this lexy or not? I may have to make them fit too!!!

That's what I thought at first - but one of the buttons under the screen says 'dest' and another 'map voice'.

Hi, I'm not sure - I have had a bit of a look - there are so many compartments - I have seen on here a picture someone has taken of boot space and mine looks similar so will have a look this morning. Thanks for your reply.

My rx300 is old like me. Having just bought her I am trying to sus the sat nav situation. When I click on menu or destination it says 'external device not connected' or something similar. Not a clue what to do. Help.

Proud owner of my first Lexus Rx300. She is 14yrs old in fab nic and competes for my affections with my other car, a newish Kuga - guess which I prefer?
