  1. I have a nice low mileage black IS 200 manual which has taken a big knock when a nice woman in a little fiat rammed into my passenger side front wheel for no obvious reason other than her foot slipped from brake to accelerator big-style. Very little body damage - the wheel took nearly all the knock. The car is insurance-terms write off and I've been given it back but I'd like to get it back to running again. New parts would cost me loads. There are lots of 12 -14 year old simliar make similar colour cars on the market as 'good runners' for about £1000 and I have someone who I trust to strip and assemble. My question is: how do I find out whether the parts of a given car of a given year will match my own? In other words, whether significant changes were made to these parts in the years concerned? Any assistance appreciated.
