  1. OK, I've finally decided to get my kit painted. I have the TTE front bumper and rear valance and the TRD sideskirts.

I bought the sideskirts new (Thanks Mr Shipley!) and the front bumper and rear bumper second hand (thanks eBay!)

My question is, do I require any additional parts to make this fit and is there a fitting guide?

I think it looks an easy swap over but my mate who is painting and fitting it was wondering.

  2. I have been fortunate enough to experience both at my young age as my Dad is into the luxury market. We both agreed that i-drive is a load of rubbish however it is extremely comfotable and I think it's great looking! Audi A8 is awesome, I drove the last of the previous model S8 with all extras and it was something else! The S class is nice too.

The RX is a great car. Dad opted to sell his XJ8 for an RX300 SE-L and he loves it!

I say if you can operate and like i-drive then go for whatever you fancy! If you don't like i-drive don't buy it as you'll get frustrated and sell it! (hence the good deals!)

  3. You can put me down for a SON-DASPOL-KIT too!

I've been looking but I'm yet to take the plunge.

The main reason for it being a 110V kit is probably because it's industrial and running tools off of 110V is deemed safer. Also it means you can run it on Ex rated sockets etc. Handy for an industrail environment.

  4. I kind of feels like it is oversteering but there is no 'snap' bringing it back. Oversteer feeling then this floaty thing.

It was the 5 year service, I don't think it was done. I'll check. If it wasn't I'll get it done.

Anywhere you could recomend in the Aberdeen/shire area?

And if I do I'll get a print out! :winky:

  5. Hi folks, I didn't put this in handling category as I'm not yet sure whats wrong.

When I make right turns at speed and sometimes left ones too te rear of the car seems to feel floaty. Not exactly confidence inspiring!

I don't remember it doing it before but have noticed over the last week, since I got it back from a service. I was told I'd require attention to the brakes soon by the dealer.

I'm back on the standard 17s with tyre pressure 32 all round.

    Can anyone help?

    It's a standard 2000 SE with 44k on it.
