Hi, I bought a 220d a few months ago with 60k, it had very poor turbo lag, poor economy and sixth gear was a no no under 85!!. I had the egr cleaned. service etc...no change. So i FITTED A DRAKE 2 off ebay, fitted it in about 5 minutes £69. Its made a massive difference.Turbo lag has almost disappeared, economy has risen as my average is now 40mpg, range has even shown the difference. A recent trip to oxford I managed 50mpg. Six gear can now be used from 75 ! The car is now so driveable, its great!
