Not as easy, but not difficult, havent done it in ages but you need to remove the liner on the boot lid and you will see how to get them off, not difficult at all B)

as said above, tis always advised to replace in pairs on the same axle....KYB are really good and is what i replaced mine with earlier in the year, think i paid about £130 for the rears delivered from auotoparts sutton

Nope, no need to remove the headlight, tis very tight on the passenger side, but can be done!

The grom cable isn't long enough to reach the glovebox, but not sure about the xcarlink one.

However if it's USB, could you just get an extension cable?

Tools Required:

Flat head screwdriver

8mm socket (although can be done with a spanner)

Time Required

Approx 20 mins

The first thing you will need to do is to remove the clips holding the boot lid backing

You will then see two 8mm bolts on either side of the latch which you need to remove

There are another 2 bolts behind the little plastic hatch which the latch sits behind that also need to be removed, this is a PIA if you don’t have an 8mm socket, I had lent mine to someone so had to do it with a spanner and is a right pain to get to with!

The (bar) panel above the number plate is now loose, however you will need to give it a bit of a pull as it is still attached with 2 clips

You then remove the clear lens by pushing them to the side and lifting out, I think mine went outwards i.e.the right one I pushed towards the right from its left side and the left one I pushed towards the left from its right side

The bulb holder then just twists out of the lens and the bulb can be swapped

Do everything in reverse to put it all back together

Job done :)

Ive had T1Rs on mine for years and cant fault them, currently got conti sportcontact 3 on them and i have to say there is quite a difference in noise, im finding them so much quiter.....they stop really well too.... ive heard a lot of good things about the FK452's and thats probably what im going to try next!

save yourself a packet and go to a good independant, but in answer to your question, yes they will work on it with mods

Im lowered on 30mm TTE springs with the aero rims, i get a little rubbing on full lock, just need to get a heat gun on the inner arch at some point!

Ive since fitted 5mm spacers on the rear and 3mm on the front B)

Speak with Tony about your cars set up and he will be able to provide you the best settings for you and you can buy your geo from his wensite and have the work carried out at any of the national centres that now come under WIM across the country :winky:

I got the screens brand new from eBay, keep an eye out as they are always around! B) As for the install i cant really say what is involved for the RX as mine are in the IS. I installed an aftermarket headunit and run the screen from that. THISwill give you an idea of whats involved in changing the head unit (for the IS), each screens will require a permenant & switched live, ground and RCA lead feed from the HU.

Hi, i have problems with slight pull and snatching over bumps/dips in the road, I did a search for wheels in motion ended up on a site called blackboots, has anyone heard of them? They are offering the same type of thing the closest one to me is a garage at christchurch called the christchurch tyre company, or should i just try the Lexus dealer in poole?
