  1. How much oil is required? Toyota OEM branded 0w-20 can be had online for £40 per 5L
  2. AFAIK - legislation is that manufacturers cannot invalidate warranties based on independent servicing if they adhere to schedules and use OEM parts. Both of which they do. There's no hybrid check in any of the servicing schedules as far as I can see. Do you honestly think they do anything other than plug a reader in and test the voltage of the batteries on the hybrid check? It's £59 from a Lexus dealer if you're that worried about it!!! Hybrid system (hopefully) is pretty solid! Anyone care to jump in and add any additional info? I didn't have a particularly great experience at the Lexus dealer so I'm not keen to take it back.
  3. Service plan from my Lexus dealer was circa £1000. 2 majors and 1 intermediate. Phoned up local independent Lexus service centre and got it down to less than £500!
  4. Hi guys, First post so please excuse me! I've had my is300h since Feb and been racking up the miles! I was a little paranoid when I got her because I'd read people getting seriously awful mileage....I don't know what they're doing, my average so far has been 55-57mpg on a 67m commute. Best I ever got was Southampton to Thorpe Park (wooo rollercoasters!) with 63mpg. Anyway, I digress! Nail in tyre :megaangry: :megaangry: :megaangry: :megaangry: Currently I have the OEM tyre, Yokohama BluEarth e51a 17" I've searched for my car's tyres online and the Yokohama BluEarth comes out as the AE-01. Nowhere really seems to stock the E51a and if they do it's quite expensive. AE-01 comes out at about £70ish. I'm confused - whats the difference? Which one should I go for? Thanks, Matt
