wow this seems a lot of work. is it worth running a 2nd head unit?

hi i am new to Lexus ownership and have a 1998 gs300 with sat-nat and screen i am looking to run a sound system but as there are a lot of buttons surrounding the screen it seems difficult to replace the standard head unit. what are my options? is there a rca input for a reverse cam? any help here would be greatly appreciated
