    Was the loose top nut on the same strut you've already had replaced? I know knocks/rattles are very difficult to pinpoint but does it sound like it's coming from that side?

    In my experience, any suspension knock which doesn't seem to have a source usually turns out to be a top strut mount. They're pretty much impossible to test without taking them off and of course if you're paying someone to do the work it's going to be a few hours of labour.

    Hi, good to see a car like this being taken care of. You mentioned Yaris injectors, I've looked but I can't find any info on this. What's the benefits?

    Hi everybody. Had my is200 for about 6 months now but I've just joined the forum. Lots of parts ready to go on but just don't have the time. I'll be doing some write ups in the near future on everything as it gets done. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Jason

    8 degree timing advance doesn't look right. I'd check the belt hasn't skipped a tooth or possibly a vvti fault but I'd expect a code for that.
