Have you gone into notifications on your phone - allow notifications.  Then go to the app, click on your profile (picture of a person) and select which notifications you want to set.

    Hi Don

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately we have tried all this and it still doesn't work. The plot thickens!😕

  2. Hi, Ive invested in a Disclok to protect my Takumi 250h which is a visible deterrent, but they can be removed evidently, So seriously looking at a Ghost alarm, not sure it defeats a Canbus attack, also i see there is an Obd lock, And i have a Faraday box at Home...... But surely the Manufacturer should be doing more, I understand RX sales are falling due to Insurance Companies refusing to insure them, Should the t onus should be on Lexus to beef up Security on their Vehicles?

  3. I see that nothing has been sorted with Lexus Link, highly inaccurate.  Showing vehicle moving when it is parked on my premises. Also trips missing from schedule. Lexus say "Experience amazing" certainly is, pity they cannot produce an app which is the quality of their vehicles.  I have told them, via the app, of this a number of times but there is never a reply.

Hey @Stompe, are you saying that they're noticeably quieter? Any impact to the fuel economy or change in grip levels? I'm picking up my new UX this coming weekend, and the bloody thing has got the Bridgestones on it just like my current car...

    Nick

Hi Nick, Fuel economy, to be honest is not important to me, I'm all about ride quality, grip, and more importantly noise, In my honest opinion, it's night and day, I have no figures to back this up, But to me the steering feels more precise, the Runflats seemed to "Tramline" especially on Lane assist, Noise seems a lot better even on our Potholed roads, overall I'm more than happy and the extra expense was worth it. also bought the "Gunk" just in case. I'm told even Tyre fitters don't like Runflats. Sorry can't be much help with mileage, not everyone drives the same anyway. although I'm not Driving Miss Daisy, nor Lewis Hamilton, I'm some way between 😀. Good luck in what decision you make. 👍🏻

Hi Roger. Lexus insists you cannot fit anything other than runflat tyres on any UX model except the basic model.

If you do it will not conform and will negate your guarantee. So you’re stuck with the noisy bumpy consequences.

    Straight from the Horses mouth!

    Lexus Customer Relations

Thank you for your email. This is an interesting topic that you have raised, and one that I am certain does cause much confusion.

Please note that changing tyres would not void your warranty. There is nothing mentioned in any of our documentation that supports the claim that a warranty would be voided.

Unless there is clear reason to believe that the tyres have LED to cause an issue with you suspension, which is it unlikely to, there would be no issues.

If there were issues related to the changing of tyres, we would refer a customer to speak with the tyre manufacturer.

Our warranty team confirm that issues related to the warranty change of tyres is all but non-existent.
