I have a 2001 and it was fine for 3 years. Then the alarm kept going off at 05:00 in the morning.
I traced it down to a flat battery, not flat enough to not sound the alarm!!!
It had a new battery and was ok for a while, then I the alarm would go off again early in the morning.
I measured the static current drawn which was 1Amp!!!!
I intend to measure the current drawn and remove every fuse one at a time to see if I can find the circuit drawing the current.
