  1. Took delivery today \o/, I'm sure he will turn up on the site soon
  2. Sorry Rayaans I wasnt clear on the numbers.. The bolton car came back with a GFV of £13k (They have now adjusted it) Most Ex-Demos I've seen come back with a GFV of 25k New Finance offers I've seen come back at £27k All the above are on 2 year deals. The GFV has the significance of lowering your monthlies, its not about what the car will be worth in the case I outlined.
  3. Yup Thanks, been discussing with Bolton, but for some reason their GFV is very very low...(great guys though, been flexible with our needs) Actually all the dealers put the GFV after 2 years to near enough 25k,(max 27k) which is weird because the website Lexus fiance offer indicates that after 42 months (3.5 years) the GFV is 23.5k What it boils down to is that Lexus dealerships and Lexus Finance themselves are not convinced the car is going to hold its value at all....
  4. Hi All, Mate wants to buy an RCF: Exterior Black (v.important) Interior: Black Leather (negotiable) Other stuff(s): TVD (Desirable) + Sunroof (Highly Desirable) + ML (Desirable) I've been ringing around the garages of the ones we've selected online. We've come to realise that there are substantial savings in getting an ex-demo, especially as the dealers aren't moving much on the new car. Do you know any dealers who perhaps don't advertise on Autotrader and the Lexus used cars page please ? He is looking to place an order this week and I thought I'd request your esteemed guidance please. TIA AK
  5. @DVM the Dealer in Hatfield has a similar one with wing mirrors wrapped too. You might find some inspiration here (click me)
  6. Thx Rob, I'm not able to log in after registering because the registration process just dies after personal info is entered. (not even on the PC on multiple browsers) The worst thing is then I can't use the same email address or username because even though I can't log in (username not valid), I can register with the same username again...(username not available) - it's all so clunky. Btw - how can one email the portal support people please? - the "contact us" advice just says log in and then email the support guys, which doesnt help if you can't even log in :( In this day and age, one would think they'd make an app for all this shenanigans
  7. @daylight1 did you get anywhere with this? I'm in the same position as you and can't get passed the registration phase... TIA
  8. Thanks all @Eame64 for me it would be between the LS460 and LX 470. The LS460 because it was the SWB and you could just throw it about. - The 600 was really heavy and not intended to be driven like that - Also the pre-collision system would kick in when I tried to be even a little rough... The LX470 was just rugged and understated, also the only car that my very very fussy eldest would fall asleep in. So best for rear passenger comfort. Wife wouldn't touch any of the above though, she's had her CT and IS250, and she prefers the sportier ride.
  9. Hi All, I live in Bucks and am picking up an ex-demo IS 300h F-Sport this week for the Mrs. People tell me I'm Lexus mad !! I've owned many Lexii (is that allowed?) over the years in all the countries I've worked: LX470 LX570 LS600hl (UK) LS460 GS450H (UK) GS300 ES350 LS400 (UK) I hope to be a reasonably active contributor, however I'm not very mechanicky - sorry :( Look forward to the forum stuff. AK
