  1. I would always get my car done at Lexus because a Lexus is a luxury brand and you had to weigh up the costs of the maintenance. I would buy a service plan as it’s a lot cheaper. I would get the service done at the dealership as it’s a 2019 car and still under warranty. Furthermore you will get Lexus relax. Also currently you might get a profit on the car if you sell the car due to a chip shortage.

  2. Hi we had a sytner service plan and styler sold the franchise to Inchcape and our service plan got automatically transferred to the new company and we can get the car serviced in Nottinghamshire, Guildford or Leicester. I hope this helps. We live in Leicestershire so we go to Leicester to get things repaired or serviced at this centre and they are very good.

  3. Hi we have a similar car to yours. Ours is a Ct200h. We have a service plan with the dealership and it’s to with age and distance not just mileage. The dealership always provides us with a checklist and our car did 28k and it’s a 14 plate. They changed the spark plugs and other items. They also did a engine flush as well free of cost. If you’re a pay as you go customer I recommend buying a service plan and 2 for 1 warranty as the mots are free and you get personal AA cover. I hope this helps. We just renewed our service plan for a 4 year plan as it was much cheaper compared to pay as you go.

  4. Rather than opening up the car and re wiring the car with miles of cable and invalidating the cars 3 years manufacture warranty.

The best thing is to sell the car or ask the dealer to have a part exchange and buying a car with the takumi pack. I have the ML version in my car and it sounds great.

To put it bluntly you should have test drove the car and not bought the car. There are many pre owned used cars with the takumi/premier out there. Just get an upgrade rather than disturbing the car. I wouldn’t buy a car with an upgraded system which was completed by a third party on a brand new car as it invalidates the warranty

  5. Hi my car went for its 60k Service at the dealerships and they pointed out a few things which are in amber. This includes a break disks half worn but the pads are fine. The tyre needs to be changed as there are cuts in the sidewalls. The car has completed 29450 miles.

Should the breaks be half worn already?

Furthermore the cars extended warranty and service plan is coming to end. What are your thoughts of getting a new plan and extended warranty. The dealership has said it’s already been paid for as there was over £4K of repairs completed. I look forward to hear from you soon.

    Hi Everyone

I just purchased a map on eBay for my car from:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-Premium-Navigation-Micro-SD-Card-Sat-Nav-EU-UK-RUS-MAP-Ver-2-2020/282672641279?epid=15037773983&hash=item41d09a34ff:g:ZYoAAOSwmY1alm8a

The map I have been advised to purchase by https://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/ is 15MM EMVN 2019Q2 (Spring 2020 Map Update), Item: PW675-00A43.

And the cod on my old SD card is 86271-53240.

The guy on the eBay said its genuine Lexus map he is selling and that it's a Ver2 2020. However, the SD card I received has no part number (on eBay page its PZ445-US335-0T), and after installing it, I checked my map data on the car, and it says my map version is: EU 02-39-50-(2019-03-0). I know this isn't exactly a date format but the "(2019-03-0)" gives me the idea that this is the last year version.

Could someone help me to find out if I have the latest version or been given the wrong map? Or if you have the latest map, could you let me know what the version you have is?

To find the version, you need to go to the Main menu> Setting> Navigation> Map data.

    Thank you.

Hi 0t is last years model. It’s not the current one. You have been misled if it did say 2020. I am speaking to my dealership to confirm the latest part number.

    Hi Guys

    I have a Lexus IS300h 2013 model.

My current navigation system is "Lexus Premium Navigation (13MM)" The map I have been advised to purchase by https://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/ is 15MM EMVN 2019Q2 (Spring 2020 Map Update), Item: PW675-00A43. would this even be compatible with my car?

    ORDER DETAILS

    PARTNUMBER:
    1  x  PW675-00A43
    86271-48349;86271-48349;PW675-00A43;

    PRODUCT TOTAL € 165.00
    FREIGHT € 20.56
    SUBTOTAL: € 185.56
    VAT € 38.97
TOTAL COST ALL INCLUSIVE: € 224.53

€ 224.53 is just ridiculous for an update can someone recommend a reliable place to get it for free or cheaper price? I have been looking online and either the year of the car doesn't match or the part number. Few of these pages I have been looking at are:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-Premium-Navigation-Micro-SD-Card-Sat-Nav-EU-UK-RUS-MAP-Ver-2-2020/282672641279?epid=15037773983&hash=item41d09a34ff:g:ZYoAAOSwmY1alm8a (it says "LEXUS IS - 2014 on"

    https://toyotamaps.online/map-updates/toyota-lexus-navigation-gen9-microsd-update (also says  IS (2014-present))

    and

https://www.satnavishop.co.uk/2020-2021-lexus-premium-sat-nav-sd-card-navigation-map-update-652-p.asp (but the PN is PZ445-US335-0U)

Can someone help me to get the right map?

Hi I am speaking to the dealership to confirm what the part number is. I totally agree with you once we have the latest part number we can go from there. It’s was so much easier to have us335 0** so that you knew what version it was. Once I get an update I’ll let you know.

2017 onwards premium nav system wide screen. It is disappointing if they are stopping supplying other systems.

I’ve just tried using the website and it has come up with the same product as the one which you have mentioned. I am in the process of speaking to the parts department and see if this matches with the website. I hope it does. However you are right if cars have the same satellite navigation system in 2017 cars then they should still keep it active.

That’s the best they can do,they are saying they have got stick the Lexus service plan prices

Which group does your car belong to and which dealership is this? If its Inchcape they can provide a maximum of 10% discount

Also got them down to £1079.50 for the service package,do any of you think that’s a good deal?

    it does include it’s first MOT,free bulb fittings(except the headlights),free puncture repairs,free wash&vac.

ASk them to go lower. As we have a quote for 3 services at £747.98. However, we have extended warranty and they provide free MOTs.

  11. Hi this update was provided in the second half of last year.

I have 0s at the moment.

I was hoping to get the early 2020 version. Unfortunately lexus have discontinued the Sd cards and I was informed by the representative that they’ve now stopped manufacturing the sd cards as it’s now done over the air.

  12. Hi I had spoken to lexus head office today to when the sat nav update is coming over as the rest of the cars In the range have had their cars updated. Unfortunately my car has not yet has been updated. They said to me that there might not be an update coming soon as it’s being discontinued. Therefore the other cars who have the sd card will not be updated anymore unfortunately. Is this true?

  13. hi congratulations on your new car. You need to sign up to my lexus on lexus.co.uk and enter your vehicle documents details when asked and from that you’ll find your history of your car. Furthermore once signed up you can download the lexus link application and you can send directions to your car, depending on the sat nav model. I hope this helps.
If it’s all incorrect then ask lexus customer relations to speak to all the dealers and they’ll make it correct as there some glitches within the system.

After talking to my brother it seems Lexus don't even stamp the book if you use the essential service. So that's definitely made my mind up for me!

I've come across an offer that Lexus Parts Direct are doing for an intermediate service kit under £60. That's £20 cheaper than what I've found on eBay and I should hopefully get a proper receipt to show I've used genuine parts.

    https://www.lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/parts/lexus-ct/lexus-ct-2010-onwards/lexus-ct-engine-service-kits/lexus-ct-phase-1-service-kit/

Should I get the oil filter tool as well, will this fit the CT? I have seen cheaper ones on eBay/Amazon but some have longer delivery times and I'd imagine the quality isn't as good. If anyone could recommend a tool I'll be grateful.

Hi I don’t know where to get parts from, as I always get my car serviced at the dealership as they provide me with a discount on my service plan. In terms of getting an essential service completed they do stamp your book. All you have to do is ask. Sometimes they might give you a discount on the service as well.

i hope this helps. We had paid £300 for three services which included 50, 60, 70k services. As we have extended warranty with them.

LexusLink app service history bears no resemblance to a dealer printed service history and most of the detail other than Hybrid Health Check is missing. Very disappointing, not worth using.

    LexusLink:

    Dealer print out:

We had the same issue, a quick phone call to the customer relations department of lexus resolved all the missing history etc. It’s do with the fault of the dealerships not adding information onto the system.
