  1. I'd love to get some too, unfortunately Lexus Belgium only sells lowering springs :( Guess I'll have to look elsewhere then :) Could you tell me how much I'd probably have to cough up?

gold member ship can get them cheaper, i feel a group buy coming on, if theres enough interest

The only worries I have about gold membership and the group buys is the fact that everything would have to be shipped to Belgium and I would still have to find someone to install everything :duh:
  2. Ignoring the handling characteristics of FWD vs RWD - and be honest who is good enough here to notice???  Not me certainly  :D

However, I would ask only one question - if you live where you get a fair bit of snow be aware that RWD cars can be a real handful.  My GS gets scared at the first sign of snow.  I would go for a FWD or 4WD if I lived in snowy areas else pick whatever car you like best whether it be FWD, RWD or 4WD.

we have few days of snow per year and fair amount of rain; so I would not say that this is critical but there is no point in killing myself :)

in any case lexus will be avaliable from june (just in time to replace my aging P406)

p.s. while I would not rate myself as sports driver, it would be also wrong to say that with 30+k km per year in last 15 years I am a rookie; probably fwd needs some adjusting in driving behaviour

Don't worry, the Lexus IS200 was the first RWD car I drove myself after a lifetime of weak FWD fiat's with half the power. The TRC holds back alot of the power, just be a little careful when it snows but it's still easy to correct :)

  3. I heard this advertised on the radio today. I don't know if you have ever had to wait while your wife, partner, significant female other queues to use the loo, but if so, this may be just what you should buy for her.

Next thing the ladies will be demanding to use the boys room and we will have to join queues Is nothing sacred anymore?  :ban-em:

Only joking, a brilliant invention. Every Lexus should have one in the glovebox as standard. And sadly I don't have an interest in the company

:lol: Who thinks up these inventions ???????:lol:

It was invented by a dutch female artist (probably while smoking the lawn or something :whistling:), the company she originally started went bankrupt at the end of last year...

  4. Have I got a case to go on?

-I was told I could opt out

-I was told that the 'freeze' on new cars didnt apply to 'opting out'

-Our transport department arranged to collect my old car, knowing full well I now had a new car.

If you have it in writing you could have a case, but I think only for the 1st 2 points.

  5. thnx guys, i thought i was being shut outta the forum cuz my posts kept on dissapearing, but they were being moved here, thanx for the help, i think imma go single turbo, or maybe supercharge, what do you guys think is better, which will give me more power, i kno teh sc is from teh pulleys so its rite off the line but i ned to kno personal opinions

The (TTE) supercharger is only for the 200, so you'd have to go with a turbo, unless you know of one from another brand
