Do you get the same problem with poverty spec (non-aero) wiper blades?

Here's a photo of the OEM grade fix we implemented. We shoved the passenger side wiper onto the driver's side to make the best of what we had. The rainbow is just a sample of the "decoration" we did on the car while waiting for the ferry in Dover.

Hi, I've tried searching the forum, and several other forums, and shops but I can't find a definitive answer to what size the wiper blades are on a 1992? Also am I reading things right that there is some kind of special clip for fitting it? I can't just measure the old ones as the driver's side decided it fancied an extended vacation on the peage heading towards Le Mans this weekend and the car currently has a Porsche flag MacGyvered onto the arm with duct tape and good intentions, not sure measuring that will do much good...
