Hi you probably don't want to hear this ,had a similar issue my local garage tried to source a second hand part unfortunately none were suitable so ended up getting one from lexus my bill was over £1400 but still cheaper than buying another car as comfortable and reliable 

Hi all have a damaged passenger seat in my 2004 rx300 and the question is ,is the same colour beige used throughout the lexus range,  and are all the seats similar as have seem other models seats looking like mine ,thanks in advance

Yes, goes through all the setting, didn't realise how high it could go as never alter settings except on motorways

So car was in this morning no errors, so whatever happened has cleared, happy days, so booked in next week for a couple of minor jobs

thanks for info ,funny you mention tailgate as had some issues with mine also ,the mechanic i use used to work for Toyota\Lexus so has a working knowledge of these vehicles

So car booked in for Friday then went shopping after filling boot and going home it starts working and would raise and lower will still get it checked

Hi mines a vintage 2004 model quick look on eBay and a new one was about £200 so not to bad, so off to garage tomorrow to book in and get checked out, thanks

Not sure where to look for that to be honest , but wouldn't compressor run even for a short time

Morning all thinking of changing my rx300 for a 400h seen a few but they don't have sat nav, anyone got one and put in an after market unit and if it was easy, my rx has the ML system and know how difficult it can be, thanks all, stay safe 

Hi have a 2004 rx300 and my screen was coming on very slowly and on some short journeys not at all, then the battery died had a dead cell now everything seems fine screen comes on every time, might be an idea to check ,good luck

Thanks Herbie, if I do decide to change it will be another RX I get as as I get to a certain age comfort and accesabillity matter😊😊

Someone on here did just that and got the set of four for under £800.

Have seen this not sure the outlay of nearly £1000 on a vehicle worth £2300 is the way forward, with used car prices dropping might be a good time to replace have seen a few traders reduce the prices on a couple of 400hs by £500 so could be a buyers market 

Hi mines 2004 with air 113000 on clock had for over 3 years and can't fault the ride and comfort so looking for a newer model as worried a fault on the suspension might be a very expensive fix as about £750 per corner 

Hi all have a rx300 sel and seen an rx 350 without the sat nav am thinking of purchasing but would miss the reversing camera, anyone retrofitted one and any issues to look out for, know it could be a easier fit as it doesn't have the ML sound system unlike my present vehicle, thanks Bob

Hi just a question ,does this modification invalidate your insurance as your vehicle is not standard and will it need an inspection ,have a 2004 with air ( touching wood as writing this ) and it appears ok at moment ,so might need to do this in the future Thanks Bob

Hi have looked at this myself, have an 2004 sel with sat nav,  read posts that say you can have problems as the touch screen controls heating and navi, there is a video on youtube showing a unit been put in ,its a few years old but there seems to be a lot of wire splicing going on as there doesn't seem to have the available adaptors which could make it more complicated sorry don't know how to put a link in ,the video is from the USA .My amp blew 16 months ago and was quoted from between £600 to £800 to replace the head unit but they would not guarantee that it would not cause problems with car controls,hope this helps

Hi have you looked at the American forums as they were extremely popular over there think your model is the 330 over there ,have seen a kit on eBay but its for non Mark Levinson fitted cars , my amp blew last year and a local shop wanted over £600 to replace the stereo but couldn't guarantee that I would have full function as you are finding so have a Belkin cassette which connects to my phone works very well and a lot cheaper

Hi the rear passenger window doesn't work from the drivers door but works from the doors switch so no probs until I tried to remote close. All windows except the rear passenger closed so does anyone know if the remote closeure works through the drivers door controls as an thinking the problem is there? Thanks for any advice
