Hi All, No local suggestions? Do I need to take the car South to find a garage not scared of lpg?

Hi, New to forum and to lexus. My 99 rx300 has a pounding brake pedal that sinks slightly even under soft braking. Looking at the forum here - I'm suspecting reluctor ring rot or crack but possibly sensor fault. I want a sensible priced garage to take a look but my local has refused as the car is lpg. Does anyone know of a sensible 'sole trader' type garage near Durham that will take a look and not simply plug a diagnostic in and say "sesnor shagged" when a cracked reluctor ring may be causing the ECU to log a non-existent sensor fault?
