My GS is a 2002 and I have MOT Advisory on two Exhaust back box joints, the whole exhaust is fine its just the two bolted joints that are very rusty (see pic).

Has anyone else had this problum can it be fixed or is it a new exhaust. ?

Yep Mark W is right a very large bill, but they are dam good brakes.

My GS300 mk2 SE 2002 uses a nitrogen pressurised accumulator.

What is it about these ECU's that costs all that money, its just a few mico chips on a board in a box with a plug, someone is getting very rich off these.

Its all such a rip off. and its the same with all car makes.

On mine ,one press on the remote locks doors but (no alarm or dead bolts) second press sets alarm and dead bolts. I never use the key ever.

Ive been using the Cheetah GPS Mirror for along time now with built in antenna free updates and the mirror is just brill well happy with it saved me loads of times and only £99 off eBay.

if your vehicles in for a service then they will probably program it for free, only takes a couple of minutes.

I got my dealer to only unlock the drivers door when pressing unlock on the remote, second press unlocks the other doors.

Yea not the best car to have in the snow even with the snow button pressed.

No mines not like that so maybe not a factory fit, but I have seen the same aerial as mine on other GS's and I think on some LS 430s.

I dont have the satnav but I do have the phone cradle but I cannot say if it is a factory option.

I have one on mine its a phone aerial a short rubber one.

Just do what it says on the can.

Any good Car Polish will do, it will take a fair bit of rubbing , the yellow will come off, your paint looks ok.

I have had the same problem for about 8 months now, Ive changed all 4 ox sensors and seemed ok for a while but dreaded light came on again dam dam.

I read the code with my laptop yea its PO430 and reset it, the light comes on again after a few days, Ive reset it and took her for MOT and past, (the light stayed off ) and she past all the testing.

I think it must be the CAT (or a wire), yes the CATs are a pair just off the manifold and not cheap, the car drives fine so im not worred ive driven 100s of miles like this for months.

If anyone knows where to get the cats at a good price ill change them both.

Find a road force balance machine it sorted mine out and never had a wobble since, thanks to Mark W.

did all 4 wheels at a cost of £40 and well worth it.

I put Falken on mine I think they are about £90 each and very low noise from them I was amazed.

To get that extra 500 cc wouldent it simply be a new engine ??

No problems now I changed all 4 O2 sensors, just like to have a reader for future use, ill get one.

The best thing I have done for a long time is changing the tranni fluid (all of it, using Type T-IV) the gear changing is now amazing and im getting better MPG and performance well worth the £94 :shutit: thats just the fluid cost, did the job myself the oil cooler way very easy.

Mark im thinking of getting a Reader, which one are you using ? ive seen some on eBay at very low prices.
