is there english/translated version of the owner manual available? cos is in japanese! or is a hand book the same? i read a earlier message with handbook available for this car. i gather uk spec is200/300 would be different cos the engine certainly is.
i used a owner manual few occasion & found it useful on my current car so i guess a owner manual would be v. useful for the altezza when is mine in few month time (not long 2 go now!)
is a toyota altezza RS200 btw (4 cyl 2.0)
thanx
Hi Mark
Have a look at www.importhandbooks.co.uk. They were very helpful.

Hi,
Sorry but I am still baffled.
Does anyone know where I can buy an owners manual so that I can figure out all of the buttons, switches, etc. etc.
Cheers

Hi Ken
Welcome to the club! I get my Altezza serviced at the local independent garage. However Lexus Leicester have offered to service mine in the past.
The odometer was already converted but I am sure a lot of the importers provide this service.
Enjoy the car!

You'll be pleased to know we have chucked Ian Brady into the Black Hole of Calcutta to free up resources to allow you enter the country"
More than a fair trade if you ask me
Couldn't happen to a more deserving human being.
I understand the hole was filled in soon after!

I was chatting with a guy I know very well. He was born in England with Indian parents. Apparently that latest scam by his community is to go back to India and pretend to be a refugee and apply for asylum here, because they know they will get a free house with the right to buy it.
What the H*ll is going on?
As an Indian who came to this country as a refugee from Uganda 30 years ago, I must say I have never heard of this scam.
Me and my family have worked hard over the years and grateful to the British for providing us refuge.
Apart from a few months in the 70's I have not relied on the State to provide for me. In fact we have always paid our dues without complaint. Last year alone 2 members of my family paid over 100k in taxes.
Sometimes it is very easy to dwell on the negative impact of immigration.

Could have been me. I was giving a lift home to my sister near Croydon. (I thought it was later than 6) I have a TRD badge on the rear and Altezza emblem on front grill.:?:

Hey Jinja
Welcome to the club! Curious about your name though. I was brought up in a town called Jinja on the shores of Lake Victoria in East Africa. Any connection?

Hi Claire
Couple of things to watch out for: Cannot get the navigation to work in the UK (yet)!
Also get a BIMTA certificate, this covers you in case the car turns out to be stolen or a write off. My insurance premium went up by 20% as well.
Hope this helps.

Hi, I got hold of a book from www.importhandbooks.co.uk. May not show on website but give them a call.
-
Thats better!
This surely has to be reported to the ASA?
-
Nope. The Audi page comes up with message "This site has experienced a technical problem" with option to go back to home page.
Could be my pc?
-
I have just tried the link posted and an error message comes up. Do you think the Audi guys are checking these forums!!

With the key in ignition pull down the flap and CD will eject

Hi ZeeOriginally posted by Zee007Got Gran Turismo Concept in the post yesterday for the PS2 and have been playing it religously every spare moment i have.
Now, I'm not sure how many other gamers there are out there, but I love my car games and have most of them for the PS2. I hit 90 odd percent on GT3 and was waitig for Concept to be released.
It has proved to be very similar to GT3 however, I have found the cars and play a lot smoother and realistic. Although gameplay is limited, for half the price of a full game I think its worth it.
Any one else care to comment? :tumble:
Got my copy yesterday as well. Have you tried the SC430 yet? Like the idea of the pace car as well as the zoom button on replay.

Apparently will be a costly conversion process of re-wriing the whole system and will cost more than the value of the car.... (I didn't tell him how much my car was worth!!!)
And I couldn't borrow a CD either.... anyone up for lending me theirs, don't mind driving somewhere just to find out if it will work.... (in the UK please)
Cheers,
Mike
Hi Mike
