  1. Hi Guys I could really do with some advice, I purchased a is250 F-sport in May after 8 years with my trusty and faithful is200, so after having 8 trouble free years with the 200 it took just 1 month before I had stretched timing chains with the is250 which I had replaced at the cost of £2400 at a main dealer, 4 days after this work was done I had a low oil pressure warning flash up when sat at a traffic lights which were on a slope!! The next day I took it back and was told to give it a week to get in all the gullies and level out correctly as there were no leaks and plenty of oil!! So I leave it a week and the light again comes on when idling on a slope but as soon as I move goes off! Today I go have every test Lexus can do i.e. Oil pressure was fine even with the warning on, pressure switch replaced still came on! The tech was stumped as he had followed every protocol and sent a report to Lexus UK and spoke to Lexus uk head tech who never heard of this warning coming on when pointing upwards on a slope!! Lexus UK have said the engine needs flushing incase there's any sealant in the oil from the chain replacements! I'm praying it's that simple as the oil pump is a 13 hour job and I don't fancy the labour rates on that!!! Anyone have any ideas or ever heard of the low oil pressure warning coming on when idling on a slope pointing upwards cheers
